Members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the new CPC Central Committee will meet with Chinese and foreign journalists at the Eastern Hall, 1st floor of the Great Hall of the People, around 11:45 on the morning of Wednesday 25 October. Journalists are kindly reminded of the following:
1. Journalists who have received confirmation notification may collect the invitation at the Press Conference Hall, 2nd floor of the Press Center, from 14:00 to 19:00 on 24 October.
2. Please enter the Great Hall of the People via the East Gate starting from 10:00 on 25 October with your invitation (each invitation admits one person only) and press card for the Congress, go through security check (including your camera, video camera and other equipment), enter the Eastern Hall, 1st floor of the Great Hall of the People, by displaying the invitation and the press card for the Congress, and take seats at designated areas.
3. Please park your vehicle with vehicle pass at designated areas in the Tiananmen Square.
4. The event will be live broadcast by China National Radio (CNR), China Central Television (CCTV) (CGTN), and China Radio International (CRI), and will also be live streamed on people.cn, xinhuanet.com, CNTV, china.com.cn, the People’s Daily App, the Xinhua News Agency App, and the CCTV news App. The Press Center will provide free public signals for live broadcast during the event.
5. Please be advised that journalists may carry ONLY ONE mobile phone per person and that wireless launch equipment or selfie sticks are not allowed in the area. Please turn the mobile phone into the silent mode or switch it off.
6. Journalists may collect relevant documents outside the Eastern Hall of the Great Hall of the People after the event.
